 Murbit (information and communications technology – or technologies) covers any computer or communication device or application, including: computer and network hardware and software,  wireless, television, mobile phones, satellite systems and the Internet, as well as the various services and applications associated with them, such as videoconferencing and distance learning.  

Although our consultants are skilled in current hardware and software technology, including full-life cycle system development, our services are often called on less for work on the technology itself than on its ability to create greater access to information and communication such as programmes of channel shift, enabling most cost effective processes for businesses and bridging the digital divide. 

Our role is to plan, coordinate and supervise all of the activities surrounding the integration of software programs and applications into our clients’ information systems.  Naturally, we also plan and coordinate the processes required for the provision of user applications and systems necessary for the organisation to operate.  

We make sure that all of the systems on which your business depends – data, software, hardware, communications – work together efficiently to create the maximum productivity at the lowest possible cost. 

We do solutions architecture from two levels or scopes. At the enterprise level we set the overall context for a solution, define what must be common across the enterprise and create patterns and standards for how that should be applied at the project level.  

At the project, or ‘solution’, level, we act as the bridge between the enterprise strata and the business-specific requirements, to ensure a perfect solution that conforms to the enterprise architecture.  

Our  consultants work in partnership with clients, advising them how to use information technology to meet their business objectives, or to overcome problems and improve IT systems, or processes in general, using IT as an enabler.  

We will give you strategic guidance on technology,  infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT. 

Analysis skills underpin all of our work and also provide the foundation for almost every kind of business change that we carry out for you.
